I found the site of the former CKSO radio and TV very interesting. I live in New Brunswick. I was born and spent quite a few years in Sudbury. I was born in 1950. My father now deceased, was Frank Paterson. He was a salesman , eventually Sales Manager I believe. He had many great times and stories about CKSO. His best friend was Ken Dobson who was the sportscaster. His co-worker and friend was Betty Sellers. I remember that Dan Kelly also worked there for awhile I believe. (He went on to be the voice of the St. Louis Blues). I myself was on TV several times as a child doing commercials  for wonder bread. I recall seeing some photos years ago before my mom passed (this year) of my brother and I with cardboard Indian feathers on our heads while we were eating sandwiches made of wonder bread. Another time I was on a Saturday kids show and my friend Bruce Dugan and myself sang bye-bye love by the Everly Brothers; while Bob Edie played on the piano. At Christmas time I remember so many of the staff coming to parties at our home. Nice memories. My dad and Kenny Dobson and some others went on a hunting trip. The station had film and photos on a morning show one day. Just wanted to give you some info and Trivia. God bless and long live the memories.
