Stirling Faux

Stirling Faux launched his broadcast career around 1970 in Sudbury at CKSO Radio and TV.  His move from Sudbury took him to CFTR in his hometown of Toronto in the early 1970's.  Next he was Program Director of CFOM Radio in Quebec City.  He returned to on-air work in Vancouver where he lives today.

During this time in British Columbia, Faux became very diversified.  He hosted a morning FM radio show for 13 years, did a 9-year run as host of the BC Lottery Corporation's "Lotto Night" show on BCTV, and hosted a national talk-show host on CKNW and the Corus Radio Network for 10 years.

Stirling is a member of the Faculty of Business, Department of Broadcasting at B.C. Institute of Technology.  It was here he developed and taught his own course, ""Introduction to Media" for some three years.

Today, Stirling Faux is an associate in a media training and media relations firm.

With three and a half decades to his credit, Stirling Faux is truly one of Canada's broadcast veterens.
