Career Highlights
James Tuckett spent some time at CKSO in the early 1980's handling news.

He started in the broadcast business in 1978 as a disc jockey in Sault Ste. Marie.  He was comfortable with news both on radio and television proving himself at other venues like Kitchener, Brantford and North Bay as well as in Sudbury.

Presently he is an Assignment Desk Reporter with A-Channel News in Barrie, Ontario.  He began working here in 1992 when the station was known as the New VR.

James Tuckett has kept himself busy in this industry both in and out of the studio.  He served two terms on the National Editorial Board of Broadcast News.  He is a founding member of the Board of Directors of Crimestoppers in Brantford and in North Bay.  Tuckett has also served as a member on the Broadcast Journalism Advisory Committees for Mohawk College in Hamilton and Canadore College in North Bay.

Special Interests/Hobbies
James enjoys travel, curling, baseball and history.
